The DCON investigations team has been strategically assembled from the highest levels of law enforcement and regulatory bodies in Australia.
Our team brings extensive, contemporary experience to a wide range of investigative areas, including misconduct (such as bullying, harassment, abuse, and anti-social behaviour), anti-corruption, complex fraud, unlawful conduct, child protection, and sports integrity (covering misconduct, anti-doping, and competition manipulation).
DCON Partners’ Managing Director and co-founder Andrew Dee has over three decades of senior level corporate and high performance management experience within the Australian and international sports industry. This includes fourteen (14) years in senior management roles at the Australian Institute of Sport, a combined twenty one (21) years as CEO of large national sporting organisations and many years serving on national and international level committees and working groups. Andrew is currently a member of the National Sports Tribunal User Advisory Group, was appointed to the Investigations and Intelligence Advisory Group of the National Sport Integrity Task Force and is accredited by Sport Integrity Australia as an independent investigations agent.
DCON’s investigators and intelligence professionals form a diverse and highly adaptable team, each bringing a wealth of experience from distinguished careers in law enforcement and regulatory investigation. With expertise in handling complex, high-stakes cases, our team has served across a range of prominent Federal Government agencies, including the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority, the Department of Environment, the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, and the Australian Taxation Office.
Drawing on decades of collective experience, the team excels in investigating serious crimes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing sensitive matters with discretion. Renowned for their skill in interviewing key and vulnerable witnesses, our professionals are often called upon to mentor and train the next generation of investigators.
In addition, the DCON team has a proven track record in executing complex intelligence operations, applying methodologies aligned with those used by Australia’s criminal intelligence community to ensure precision and effectiveness.
